🎙PODCAST | Leaks and oppositions: a state problem

This weekend the RTVE oppositions were going to take place. After 17 years of waiting, public radio and television offered positions for which more than 5,000 people applied. This was going to be the case until half an hour before the exam, when opponents learned that the exam was suspended due to leaked questions. This is not the only case, linked to leaks of questions or complications in oppositions, which has occurred in recent months. Are all these problems just isolated incidents? Can errors that affect tens of thousands of people each year, and their futures, be treated as if they were isolated incidents?

We spoke with two opposition deputies who had complications in different selection processes and we discussed this problem with Fulgen Aledo, who was secretary general of the Basque Institute of Public Administration, which is the body responsible for selection processes in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. He spent 30 years working in selection processes. Also with Marcos Peña, lawyer, who usually deals with this type of case and is a partner at Administrativando Abogados.
