JYP announced that it will launch a subsidiary, ‘Init Entertainment,’ an independent corporation, to strengthen its role as a comprehensive entertainment company.
Init Entertainment plans to utilize the know-how of JYP, which produced 2PM, Twice, and Stray Kids, to showcase singers, actors, and entertainers from various genres, including K-pop, ballad, trot, and R&B.
JYP said, “With the launch of Innit Entertainment, we will strengthen our role as a comprehensive entertainment company, increase our competitiveness in the entertainment industry, and solidify our position.”
As our first project, we will be in charge of managing celebrities discovered through KBS’s audition program ‘The Dantara.’
The company’s mission, ‘INIT’, considers communication as its main value and contains the ambition to include joy, comfort and emotion in its contents.
