🎙PODCAST | Should you leave Twitter?

Twitter is no longer called Twitter. It’s called X. It’s led by Elon Musk, who put it at the service of the far right in particular and toxic debate in general. This context pushed many people to make the definitive decision that others had already made before: leave Twitter. Leave the social network and look for alternatives. Mastodon was a fake last year: now the option seems Bluesky. Should we abandon a social network in which so much energy has been invested?

We will hear several voices, from the editorial staff of elDiario.es and from outside people with whom we have been talking about it for years. elDiario.es journalists Elena Cabrera and MarĂa RamĂrez share their personal and professional feelings with us. Julio Montes, director of Maldita.es, clearly explains his position to us: we should not leave X. Guillermo Zapata, one of the activists who best used Twitter for post-15M politics, believes that we should abandon this network social.

Additionally, we discovered BlueSky with elDiario.es technology journalist Carlos del Castillo.
