As a result of operations carried out by officers of the Nasimi district police department, Umid Hajiyev and Niyamaddin Rasulov, previously convicted of illegal drug trafficking, were detained.
Oku.Az informs that the Press Service of the Ministry of the Interior published information in this regard.
It was reported that more than 7 kilograms of heroin, opium, marijuana and methamphetamine were found in them. The detainees obtained the drugs from Iranian citizens, whose identity is being investigated, to sell them.
It should be noted that during the series of events held in Nasimi district in recent days, 29 drug-related incidents were discovered. In total, 12 kilograms of drugs were removed from illegal circulation.
Regarding the facts, criminal cases have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Penal Code and investigations are being carried out.
