A series of car thefts were committed in the Sabail district of the capital.
Oku.Az reports that the Ministry of the Interior (MIA) has published information on this matter.
It was reported that unknown persons broke the windows of cars of different brands at night and looted money and other valuables from the vehicles. Tahmez Dadashov and his brother Misir Dadashov, who committed criminal acts, were identified and detained. During the investigation, it was established that they stole bicycles from three other citizens, and committed similar crimes in the territory of the Garadagh region, breaking the payment terminal and taking 14 thousand manats from it. The crimes of these persons were recorded by security cameras.
A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether they are involved in other similar criminal acts.
