The boy was later transferred to the San Pablo Maternal and Child Hospital in Asunción and then to the Trauma Hospital, where he died on Sunday. The coach assured that the alleged attacker was “a player from the Boquerón team.” The deceased young man had started training in the San Bernardino Team Training Categories last Monday and he played his first match on Saturday, meaning he made his debut with his new team last weekend.
The Public Ministry announced that prosecutor Rosa Noguera had opened an investigation into the alleged crime of homicide to determine the circumstances of the young man’s death.
