Roland Kaiser is an Ambassador to “World Transplantant Games 2025”. They will be opened on August 17th at the Stadium Dresden Heinz-Steyer.
Dresden – “Without transplantation I wouldn’t be here today” – gratefully remembers hit Star Roland Kaiser (73) in 2010, in which not only gave his lungs but also a second life. An honorary question for the musician that he is an ambassador for “World Transplant Games 2025”.

They will be opened on August 17th at the Heinz-Steyer stadium in Dresden and connect around 2,500 athletes from 60 nations in the 17 sports competition.
“After my tour and shortly after my four Kaisermania concerts I’m back in Dresden,” Kaiser smiles.
“It is an honor for me to be the ambassador of the world transplant games where athletes show what they can do after the transplant. I can no longer participate, but today I do more sports than ever – I am in my fitness room every day.

Because of course transplantation is not a matter. Almost 9,000 patients are waiting for the donor organ in Germany. They face ten organs donors one million inhabitants – Roland Kaiser is one of them.

“Waiting for the body can be exhausting. I joined my fate at that time and I was literally euphoric when I got a report of a suitable gift,” recalls Kaiser.
“I’m really good today. My doctor advised me to carefully carefully but I shouldn’t be too careful. So what connects me with all the transplanted: We celebrate life.”
Roland Kaiser will not compete or sing at the World Transplantant Games. But: “I will present medals and documents at the ceremony,” he promises.
