150 young people are surprised with 35 cars in a macro bottle “after” leaving the Villaverde disco

A full morning, a daytime show, in the middle of the street and with dozens of cars filling up as if there were no tomorrow. And with alcohol, of course, lots of alcohol. This is what the municipal police encountered on Saturday in an industrial area of Villaverde, transformed into a daytime “after hour” and which, according to the testimonies collected, was not the first one they had organized. It is not known if it will be the last, although the concentration ended with sanctions.

It happened on September 7 at 10:10 am on Knight Errant Street. This is an area located next to an energy transformation plant, located between the Andalusia motorway (A-4) and the railway line that surrounds the San Cristóbal de los Ángeles neighborhood. A call to 092 alerted us to the party that was taking place at that time and the first agents arrived. As ABC has learned, upon their arrival they were impressed to see approximately more than 150 people and about thirty vehicles.

The disproportion of the rioters to the number of police officers was such that they had to request reinforcements from the General Police Station of the Villaverde District (CID) and the Central Security Station (CCS), the riot police of the local Corps, given the risk of altercations that could arise during the eviction. As they explained, there was a crowd in the neighborhood that was drinking, playing loud music and dancing, in the style of a “rave party.” That is why, in addition to more police officers, they demanded a breathalyzer team.

After a few minutes, in the presence of all the police officers, they began to identify the young people one by one and to carry out alcohol tests on those who were there with their cars. In the end, 108 people were registered and 35 tests were carried out (the same number of vehicles). Three complaints were filed for possession of narcotic substances and four others for violation of the highway code, the sources consulted explain to this newspaper.

It is also striking that when asked why they were in this place, the participants responded that it was a meeting space: “We meet here through social networks when we leave the clubs closest to this area of Madrid.”

What has not been revealed is whether fines have been increased for excessive use of alcohol on the street, in bottles, and if so, how much.

The municipal police are currently investigating whether this area, as those interviewed indicated, is a common meeting point and to ensure that this does not happen again.
