Rescuers have found the bodies of 17 people at the crash site of a Mi-8 helicopter in Kamchatka, the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry reported on August 1.
“So far, 17 bodies have been found. The search continues.” – the message said
Nine rescuers from the search and rescue team of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kamchatka region are working on the scene. Earlier, the operational services stated that “judging by the nature of the destruction of the helicopter, there are no survivors on board.”
According to preliminary data, there were 22 people on board: 19 passengers and three crew members.
