2.3 thousand soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), trained in France from the Anna Kyiv brigade, returned to their homeland to participate in hostilities against the troops of the Russian Federation.
This was stated by the French Minister of Defense. Sebastian Lecornuspeaking at a press conference in Germany following negotiations between the defense ministers of several NATO countries.
The head of the French military department noted that the Fifth Republic is ready to continue training servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and affirmed the need to increase the training capabilities of these formations.
