Remember iPhone SE from 2016? Were they termed as the affordable iPhone? Well, it’s getting a successor at last that too four years later. The Apple iPhone 9, the most awaited smart-phone of the year, is termed to be the successor of iPhone SE from 2016. According to various sources, it was expected that Apple would unveil its new range of products on the 5th of April, but a tweet from Jon Posse indicated otherwise. However, things went a bit off track due to the recent Corona Virus outbreak.
The tweet indicated the possibility of an internal meeting by the company, where it was decided that the iPhone 9 would be revealed on the 15th of April, while it would be available for shipments on the 22nd onwards. However, the global situation right now is not favorable as the pandemic is still sweeping across countries, and a cloud of uncertainty looms over the launch. It is unclear whether the launch would be made online or through a press conference or be called off for the time being.
Reports indicate that the affordable iPhone 9 is to be available in the price range of 349$- 399$. Packing a 4.7 inch LCD and a capacitive touch sensor on the front, it is to be seen what specifications it offers in the range.
