Johan explained that the floods were struck by the four administrative districts of Jakarta. Nevertheless, South Jakarta and Eastern Jakarta are the most difficult affected areas.

In Pele Mampang, Southern Jakarta, the water level reaches 150 cm. In Sipinang Mela, Eastern Jakarta, a flood of up to 150 cm hit the settlements of the inhabitants. Meanwhile, on Dzhalan Adi Karia, South Kedoya, water is stagnated up to 60 cm.

As a result of a rather high flood, hundreds of residents were forced to flee to a safe place. The following details of refugees based on BPBD data:

– 337 people moved to Sipinang Mela.

– 156 people are moved in rubber of tengsin.

– 119 people moved to Campung Mela.

Temporary refugees are located in mosque and school buildings, which are used as an emergency post. Joint officers from BPBD DKI JAKARTA, Water Resources (SDA) and fire and salvation office (Damkar) continue to fight for overcoming floods. Water pumps are mobilized, and the water canal is checked for optimal functioning.
