250 participants joined the event by Akbar Triathlon Buddies on GBK

Viva -Theth Indonesia Triathlon Community, Triathlon Friends, held an annual event, as well as celebration of the 13th anniversary on April 12, 2025 at the Bung Karno (GBK) water stadium, Jakarta.

This event is entitled Triathlon Friends of the Anniversary by conducting a spirit of communion and sports management through an unconception triathlon format.

As many as 250 participants participated in the triathlon race that came from different backgrounds, and the level of ability would participate in this event.

Akbar Rafsanzani, Director of the Triathlon Buddies 2025 anniversary, said the triathlon series included 400 meters of swimming, 20 kilometers of cycling and 5 kilometers, making it a friendly event for beginners, but still provoking activists in multisport sports activists.

“Triathlon friends are not only a community, but also a home of many individuals who love an active and healthy lifestyle. In this 13th age, we want to celebrate our journey in an inclusive, fun and enthusiastic way and bring new stories in their lives to apologize to them later,” Akbar said.

According to Akbar, this event was not only a sporting event, but also a momentum of friendship and respect for the community dedication for more than a decade.

“The participants will be presented with a delighted atmosphere, strong support in the community and professional content in one of the best sports sites in Indonesia, Gelora Bung Karno,” Akbar said.

According to Akbar, this year, the event was supported by various parties ranging from Koni, Triahtlon Indonesia Federation, the then sponsor of the Indonesian Ocean, Mubadal Energy, tea from Walini, Herbarife, as an official partner for nutrition, rehearsal and Indisiamia Indissemia Prays for Issernia.

“Triathlon is a sport that is still a” niche “because of the heavy” barrier to enter “, the number of perpetrators in Indonesia is still small, and we in triathlon friends mission that we are involved in this sport not only as a sport of achievements that contributes to Indonesia in international competitions,” said Akbar.

At this point, Alumni (participants) of the three anniversaries also planned to revive triathlon competitions in the future throughout Indonesia.
