A man with 18 complaints and who had fled to Portugal was arrested in Logroño. The Superior Police Prefecture of La Rioja announced that he was imprisoned for criminal records of all kindssuch as robbery, threats, homicide or public disorder.
The Spanish justice system had issued several arrest warrants against the man and this would have traveled to Portugal to avoid arrest. However, together with his partner, he would have settled in the town of Arrúbal, where he was captured.
At the time of his arrest, the accused provided false information to the officers and displayed great violence to avoid being arrested, which is why he has two offences against the authorities and against damaging a vehicle parked near his home.
The arrest was made using a tracking device on August 22 and it was the same day that he was located and detained.

Officers observed the man leaving his home and as he walked toward his vehicle, they they asked for the documentation and he told them he didn’t have it.
Verbally, the man provided false information that did not match his own, both his first and last name. Since the agents had recognized himThe prisoner tried to escape violently and was overpowered.
Once stopped, he hit the officer again and hit the facade at elbow height from the house, the man then took the opportunity to enter his home by violently closing the door. Finally, after trying to escape through the back door, he was captured.
