A joint operation between the National Police, the Civil Guard, the Tax Agency and the Judicial Police of Braga allowed the dismantling of a criminal organization dedicated to the manufacture of high speed boats (EAV) and the distribution of narcotics. This is an operation with more than 200 agents in which 28 people related to the organization during registrations in the provinces of A Coruña and Pontevedra, as well as in Portugal.
In these cases, four EAVs intervened, 150,000 euros in cashthree vehicles, computer and telephone equipment, and two were dismantled marijuana plantationsinvolving five kilos of buds of this substance.
The investigation has started end of year 2022when we learned of the existence of this criminal organization dedicated to the manufacture of EAV (considered a prohibited type), which would be used to introduce large quantities of narcotic substances into the national territory. During the investigation, the vessels were located in different locations, including Sanxenxo either Towards the Island of Arousa.
After several months, it was possible identify to all members of the group and their modus operandi. Once all the evidence was gathered, entry and registration procedures were requested, 18 in Spain and one in Portugal, all authorized. The operation took place at early October with more than 200 agents mobilized in total.
