Thanks to the Holy Immaculate Virgin who presides over us every day, the Rosario de Ferraz has become the universal Rosary pray for the salvation of Spain and the whole world. A group of people, ordinary Spaniards, but also people from all over the world who visit them daily, pray the Holy Rosary daily at the foot of the steps of the church sanctuary of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and in the same church where the Christ of Quintanar is located, coming from the Marquises of Quintanar, that Saint Antonio María Claret prayed, the Virgin appearing to him to ask him to promote with new force the prayer of the Rosary that Saint Domingo de Guzmán had already implemented, also appearing to him the Virgin in 1208, to persevere in the defense of the faith and against its enemies.
Today the The Rosary of Ferraz is prayed daily and is heard on networks throughout Spain and in more than sixty countries around the world. Once again, hearts appeal to the sacred and to our Catholic faith to comfort the worry and anxiety that govern the world.
We must understand that our consciences are empty without our faith.we must understand that we must rearm ourselves spiritually, and we must understand that our mission is to extend our Catholic faith for salvation.
We also know that we are surrounded by enemies and that evil prevails too often. This disturbs souls and makes us doubt our Christian commitment.
This is why praying the Rosary is so fundamental. Our parents and grandparents taught us this and we owe them our spiritual health and peace of mind.…but also our convictions and our deepest roots that must always give us the opportunity to make hope germinate again even in the most difficult conditions. Moreover, we must pass all this on unscathed to new generations.
These are undoubtedly difficult times. and very difficult but Spain was, is and always will be Spainin his special mission in the world… andn his mission for the salvation of souls.
I always remember Saint John Paul II during his historic visit to Santiago reminds us to be strong and never renounce our Christian roots in Europe, and this was said with so much concern in the heart of the Spanish city where the paths of Christianity converge with Rome. It is not by chance, it is a secular and permanent reality and with the Virgin of Pilar who appeared for the first time in Spain to the apostle Santiago, even during his lifetime, the greatest responsibility of all of us, of all Spaniards. , to honor and thank the Holy Virgin for her mandate to make Spain her land. It is our mission and in Ferraz we pray to the Virgin to protect us, to make us persevere on the path to God, so that Spain may be saved and so that the world may also be saved. Is there a greater honor and a greater responsibility? There is none.
For all of the above, we must thank from the bottom of our hearts and permanently José Andrés Calderón, his family and friends for taking this unique and revealing initiative at the very difficult crossroads that we are experiencing due to the constant attack on our faith. and also on our traditions and our Christian culture. Our beliefs are today more than ever our authentic armor against the attacks of evil, present today in all the circumstances of the world.
