A 35-year-old man died after being stabbed in the neck following an argument over a Colombian football match which took place this Sunday in the Madrid district of San Blas. There are still no arrests, according to police sources informing ABC.
The events took place in the afternoon, on Lola Flores Street, in the aforementioned district of the capital. Officers received a notification via 091 reporting a man with stab wounds on the neck. Agents from the Scientific Police and Homicide Group V of the National Police quickly went to the scene.
When help arrived, they could only confirm his death, a Samur-Civil Protection spokesperson told ABC.
The main hypothesis put forward is that the dispute was caused by a Colombian football match, which ended in a fight between the two rival fans, as the National Police Headquarters reported to this newspaper. The investigation, led by Homicide Group V of the National Police, continues.
