This step can be read not only as a call for a solution in two countries, but also requires the end of the conflict through political recognition.
In addition, the fact that several other European countries declared their intention to follow, even if they did not establish an official date, showing a wider impulse in the EU to recognize the Palestinian state.
This is not just a sign of increasing the impatience with the status quo. This is a clear indication of the proactive attitude of European countries and their desire to actively contribute to conflict resolution through the official recognition of Palestinian sovereignty.

It seems that Norway intends to improve its representative office in the West Bank to be the Embassy. However, there was no official statement made by the three European countries regarding the opening plans of the Embassy in Ramallah, following the decision of Colombian President Gustavo Petro to set up the Embassy in the city of Palestine.
This development marked the second blow to the international reputation of Israel, following the request of the international criminal Court Karim Khan, recently, to issue an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, and three Palestinian group leaders for the “War Crime” Israel and for the Gaza script.
Meanwhile, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will send its orders on Friday at the request of South Africa for additional action against Israel.
Responding to the decision of recognition, Israel called home ambassadors from three European countries.
Three European countries – Norwegia, Ireland and Spain – announced the official recognition of Palestine as the sovereign country, an important decision that will be valid on May 28.
“In the middle of the war, with tens of thousands of people killed and wounded, we must continue to revive the only alternative that offer political solutions to Israeli and Palestinians: two countries, living side by side, in peace and security,” said Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.
The store emphasizes that “there will be no peace in the Middle East, without a solution of two countries.”
