45 hryvnia per dollar, frozen social services and 1.5 billion for the marathon – EADaily, September 14, 2024 – Politics News, Ukraine News

Almost all social payments have been frozen in the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2025, but 1.5 billion UAH have been allocated for the telethon, according to Verkhovna Rada People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

The Government has today presented the draft budget to the Rada.

According to Zheleznyak, the minimum wage will not change: it will remain at the level of 8,000 hryvnias, and the cost of living will be 2,920 hryvnias. At the same time, 1.5 billion hryvnias have been budgeted for the telethon, as this year.

“Well, frankly, so far, the (absolutely populist) idea of reimbursement is not included in next year’s budget. The program “Support for domestic demand for domestic goods and services”, for which 3 billion hryvnias will be wasted this year, simply disappeared. I think they will still want to bring this application back or incorporate it later, but for now, yes.” — writes the Popular Party deputy on his Telegram channel.

He also said that the state budget for 2025 includes an exchange rate of 45 hryvnia per dollar.

Let us recall that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal The Russian Federation has published a draft budget for next year, in which revenues are expected to reach 2 trillion hryvnias and expenditures 3.6 trillion hryvnias, UNIAN reported.
