THE Junta of Andalusia has already claimed in court 455 million euros disappointed by the ERE case which socialists consider to be a “assembly» and a “political hunt» against the socialists. However, the Andalusian government assures that this figure will continue to increase, because there are still 130 pieces left or cases awaiting judgmentas the Minister of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification reminded Parliament this Thursday, Antonio Sanz.
At the request of the PP-A and Vox groups, and during his appearance at the parliamentary commission on “legal actions to claim fraudulent money”, Sanz explained that in the various procedures opened, only 455 million could be claimed . “There’s a lot left. We will demand until the last euro“, warned the advisor, who directly asked the PSOE-A whether or not it wants the money “stolen” from the Andalusian unemployed to be recovered.
Sanz clarified that, with regard to the documents in which the Council makes the accusation, civil liability has already been claimed in 287.79 million and have recently been published new sentences that others almost recognize 20 million.
Likewise, alongside actions in the administrative and penal field, the Council has formulated requirements in terms of accounting responsibility which are quantified as follows: 53.19 million in actions linked to socio-work assistance, 51.85 million helping businesses and 64.36 million in overcommissions.
On the other hand, Sanz pointed the way forward Court of Auditors with regard to the sums paid and the claim, in this case, of 700 million euros in matters of civil liability.
“Despite the complexity of the plot, the objective of the Junta de Andalucía is, at all times, to recover all defrauded funds, so that We will continue to exhaust all possible channels provided for by the legal system. There are sentences that recognize the return of this money, but they are not definitive and, therefore, at present it would be bold to quantify exactly the amount that will be recovered. There are still over a hundred parts missing and we are referring complaints as they are activated,” Sanz said.
In addition, the Andalusian councilor explained that, in any case, the Juanma Moreno Commission has reserved the “totality of the defrauded money that, from the point of view of civil liability, it retains in all procedures.” “We have already requested it before the Court of Auditors and, in the case of the specific procedure, our intention is to remain in the civil liability reserve for the entire amount,” he concluded.
Since the president of PSOE of Andalusia, Manuel Pezziaccused the PP this summer of having fomented a “setup” to “imprison” “innocent” socialists, there were celebrations three attempts for distinct pieces of the macro-cause (Fertiberia affair, Surcolor affair and illegal aid to the City Hall of Los Palacios and Villafranca), in addition to suspending a fourth, that of the Calderinox affair.
Group interventions
The parliamentary debate was marked by cross accusations between different groups on cases of corruption which affected everyone.
He Mario Jiménez, PSOE-A deputy indicated that the Council continues to talk about the ERA “lie, falsify reality and tell half-truths”as if there had been no judgment of the Supreme Court or the Constitutional Court on the matter. The socialist added that it is the Council which must now give “explanations” on the “looting” of public health funds through “false and emergency” contracts of the SAS with private companies in the health sector. health.
For his part, the Benito Morillo, deputy of Vox acknowledged that it is not an “easy” task to recover the money that was “looted” with the ERA. Morillo criticized the Board of Directors for promoting an institutional participation law that “benefits” unions that “they took money from the Andalusians”, and indicated that the current Andalusian government has already given “12 million euros” to CGU and CCOO.
He deputy of Andalusia José Antonio Delgado He celebrated that the PSOE-A responds “before justice” for the ERE case and also responded “before the citizens”, since today it is in opposition in Andalusia. Delgado said it felt “good” to talk about the ERE case and the need to recover the defrauded moneybut we must also talk about the “numerous cases of corruption” which have affected the PP.
Finally, the PP-A Deputy Daniel Castilla stressed that the ERE affair was a “an unprecedented fraud” in the history of Spain and it must be taken “seriously”, emphasizing that around 700 million people were defrauded.
