During a press conference, the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, Amador Pastor, reported on this “unprecedented” investment, and the various actions –courses, lectures or conferences and actions in the educational centers themselves– and news that will be made during this period.
The training is structured into different axes that are “important and fundamental for our educational support”, such as general training for all teachers, specific and precise training itineraries for each of the projects, programs or lessons taught in the educational centers, the training of teachers with specificities. functions and the School of Management Teams.
As part of the generic training for all teachers, there will be actions related to educational innovation, the teaching of digital skills, computer language, computational thinking and robotics. There will also be a commitment to training teachers in the requirements that the application of LOMLOE entails and in the promotion of educational inclusion, emotional well-being, coexistence and equality in educational centers.
Likewise, there will be continuing training for Professional Training teachers, in particular thanks to the new methodologies currently being launched in this area; specific training for the 480 centers which are developing innovation projects this year, which will have “on-demand training” and support for teachers, “so that they can certify their digital teaching skills within the framework European Union established for this purpose. .
In this sense, the head of Education indicated that the ministry will deploy “a set of actions – more than 6,000 – so that teachers can achieve certification levels in this digital educational skill at levels B2 and C1, thanks to to the digital transformation network. and robotics pilots.
There will also be 60 specific actions for emotional well-being, educational inclusion or equality, which will have a provincial and regional character.
Specific routes
Among the most important new features of the Plan teacher training for this course specific routes are listeds, which include “a series of very marked initial stages of consolidation”.

Nine other specific training routes will respond to the “unique projects” that the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports has launched in educational centers, such as school radios, innovation projects or those targeting students at high capacities.
Teachers who, within educational centers, develop very specific responsibilities or functions, such as those responsible for complementary and extracurricular activities, innovation projects and those responsible for the Professional Risk Prevention Plan, will receive training to feel “perfectly prepared”. the development of these functions.
Concerning the School of Management Teams, and the training of these teams, around 25 training actions will be developed which will accompany “the management of their own educational centers, conflict management, where applicable, team management and, above all, leadership.” , strengthening the leadership of management teams.
With all this, we will create a network for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and accommodation which can “strengthen its educational action”, he said.
National Congress of Coexistence
On the other hand, in this context, Amador Pastor announced that on October 23 and 24 Toledo will be the seat of the IX National Congress of Coexistence, taking advantage of the fact that “a new decree that regulates coexistence” is in preparation that will strengthen “the areas of prevention before the emergence of conflicts in educational centers.
