Bandung – It was reported that the climber died after lifting in the area of Punkak Sunan Ibu Kawach Putich, Bandung Regnsia, on Saturday July 5, 2025. The lost, as you know, was about 50 years old and was in Sipari.
The head of the Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar) Bandung Regenia Vavana A. Ridvan confirmed the incident. He said that the victim was suspected that he was a beginner climber and did not bring sufficient equipment to rise in the midst of extreme weather.
“We received information from a white crater manager that there was a climber who died in the zone of climbing the white crater. It is known that the victim did not wear equipment in accordance with the standards of ascent, ”said Wavan, on Tuesday (7/7/2025).
According to him, the victim allegedly decided to get up with his colleague, although the manager reminded him not to continue the journey out of bad weather. Climbing is carried out along the Pasirdjamba route, controlled by the community.
“Perhaps the rise is the initial action for the victim, so it does not receive a certain calculation of what can be prepared above,” he said.
“An interested person rises in the morning, and this is done if not one of two people on average is a beginner climber, and he was reminded that in the conditions of the same state he was not allowed to rise to the mountain of Patuha,” he continued.
