Wounded a motorcyclist without a helmet is serious after an accident in a street in the Son Gotleu district of Palma. Local Police reported that in the early hours of November 10, Base 092 urgently dispatched a Night Unit (UNOC) crew to the Rue Tomàs Rullan following an accident between a car and a motorcycle with serious injuries.
The health personnel, seeing the seriousness of the motorcyclist’s head injuries, a man 55 years old and of Colombian origincarried out his sedation and emergency evacuation to Son Llàtzer Hospital.
Officers observed symptoms in the motorcyclist consistent with ingestion of some type of narcotic substance or alcoholic beverage.
The Judicial Police Division (DPJ) requested authorization from the duty court to take blood samples, because it was impossible to obtain consent due to sedation.
Officers determined the car had stopped, The motorcycle driver did not brake in time and collided with the rear of the car. and as he was not wearing a protective helmet, he was seriously injured.
