A 57-year-old worker died this Saturday after being hit by a tourist train at La Poveda station, in Arganda del Rey, according to sources from Emergency 112 Community of Madrid.
The accident This happened around 12:30 p.m. for unknown reasons. and that the Civil Guard is investigating. The man was run over by the Arganda Train, a tourist activity steam locomotive. Upon arrival, Summa 112 health workers could only confirm the death of the officer.
Firefighters from the Community of Madrid also came to carry out sanitation and safety works. The Arganda del Rey Town Hall offered its condolences for the death of the worker and observed this Saturday, at 8 p.m., a minute of silence as a sign of mourning in the La Poveda neighborhood.
