Liputan6.com, jakarta – The Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid revealed facts about the inequality of control over the Earth in Indonesia.
According to Nusron, a total of 70.4 million hectares of another land use area (APL) under the auspices of ATR/BPN. From this, the figure 55.9 million hectares were applied to the card and certified. However, according to him, 48 percent of 55.9 million hectares of land were controlled only by 60 families in Indonesia.
“There is a sign of quote that we can make mistakes in politics in the past,” Nusron said in a public discussion of the inauguration and Rakernas I PB IKA-PMII period 2025-2030 in the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, Sunday (07/13/2025).
Nosron explained that 60 families controlled 48 percent of the total number of 55.9 million hectares of land both in the right to use (HGU) and their rights to construction. Nosron said that this also led to structural poverty in Indonesia.
“Thus, only 60 families are controlled from 55.9 million hectares. If it still belongs to the state, but only 60 families in Indonesia are controlled, if it is displayed by its PT, it may be different, ”Nusron said.
