In Moscow, 60,000 women decided to take the opportunity to undergo a free fertility test as part of a reproductive health program, said the capital’s deputy mayor, Anastasia Rakova.
“We are only two weeks into the program; To date, 60 thousand women have expressed their desire to undergo this study. 20 thousand of them have already passed it. In fact, we honestly did not expect so much interest from Muscovites.” — Rakova told RIA Novosti.
According to her, the first results on a sample of 20,000 people indicate that there is a “quite significant percentage of women” of different ages who at this moment must take care of the main task: being a mother.
As previously reported, notifications on the EMIAS portal surprised residents of the capital aged 18 to 40: they were invited to undergo a free blood test for anti-Müllerian hormone, which determines the possibility of getting pregnant. According to the deputy mayor of the capital, Anastasia Rakova, this is part of a new reproduction program, which includes the possibility of free cryopreservation of eggs, IVF procedures and embryo transfer.
