A 73-year-old man died from drowning in Cala Petita, in Cala d’Or (Majorca), as reported by SAMU 061. The events took place this Saturday around 6:40 p.m. when they pulled the man in cardiac arrest out of the water. Two ambulances went to the scene, one for advanced life support and another for basic care.
With the collaboration of the beach lifeguard, the Advanced Extra-Hospital Resuscitation Service of the Emergent Nursing Care24 of the area, the local police, the Civil Guard and the Civil Protection, the death of the man was confirmed, after carrying out resuscitation maneuvers for 45 minutes.
On the other hand, a 28-year-old girl was injured after suffering a road accident in Formentera and is currently in a serious and stable condition under observation in the emergency room of the Can Misses hospital.
As reported by SAMU 061, on the Pilar de la Mola highway, At kilometer 7, an accident was recorded between a motorcycle and a car around 2:00 a.m.
Two occupants of the vehicles were injured. The woman, aged 28, of Italian nationality, suffered multiple trauma and was first transferred to the hospital in Formentera and then transported by helicopter to the Can Misses hospital in Ibiza.
However, a 32-year-old man, the driver of the car, was slightly injured. A Basic Life Support ambulance and another Advanced Life Support ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Finally, A 25-year-old man was seriously injured this Sunday in a motorcycle and car accident in Formentera. As reported by SAMU 061, the alert occurred at 8:56 a.m. on the Mola motorway, at kilometer 10.
An Advanced Life Support ambulance arrived at the scene and assisted the young man who suffered multiple fractures. He was initially transferred to the hospital in Formentera and later, by medical helicopter, to the Can Misses hospital in Ibiza.
