A 76-year-old man was seriously injured this afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car on the M-40, Madrid Emergency Services reported.
The accident occurred at kilometer 57 of the outer carriageway of the ring road around 1:30 p.m. this Monday. Health workers from Samour-Civil Protectionwho verified that the motorcyclist suffered from serious head trauma and amputation of the left leg below the knee.
He was intubated and transferred to La Paz in very serious condition, according to Europa Press. Civil Guard agents carried out the observation while a Municipal Police convoy escorted the injured person to the hospital.
