The Valencia Civil Guard is investigating the incident and says it was an accident that occurred while the victim’s daughter-in-law was driving and only heard the noise.
THE Civil Guard investigation into death of an 84-year-old woman who fell from a camper van traveling at 90 kilometers per hour in the four lane road A-7, near Rotglà i Corberà (Valencia). The sources of the investigation indicated that the hypothesis is that it is an accident.
This happened this Thursday morning, around 6am, while the vehicle – in which the elderly woman and the driver, her daughter-in-law – were travelling on this fast lane.
The victim was apparently crush by another vehicle who was getting up at that moment, while her daughter-in-law only heard the sound of the fall and stopped a few kilometers later at the next gas station, where, seeing that there was no one in the camper, she asked for help and explained that she did not know where her mother-in-law was.
The Civil Guard is investigating whether it was an accident or if there was another cause, although for the moment the assumption main points of a death accidental. As a detail that could explain it, inside the vehicle, the woman could have confused the bathroom door with the exit door, since they were traveling at night.
