Entrepreneurs from different sectors carry out original donations and still useful to help in areas affected by the disaster caused by DANA in the province of Valencia. Everyone brings what they have and what they know best, for example the shoe industry represented by the national federation that FICE sends 3,600 pairs of boots of water.
Another special and equally selfless contribution comes from the organizers of the La Nucia Rally Mediterranean “Costa Blanca Trophy” in Alicante: its electric generators to challenge the exam.
“While we are aware that this measure may affect some participants, we firmly believe in the importance of coming together and collaborating during these difficult times,” they detailed in a press release.
That is to say that their gesture implies suffering from a lack of technical means for their competition, in particular by losing this cover in favor of the service park, even if they consider it well used for the debacle in the neighboring province.
In the case of rubber boots, the first shipments were carried out by the companies Panter, Paredes, Igor and Verbenas, awaiting FICE (Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries) that other brands will join this initiative in the coming days.
To achieve this, they previously contacted the Emergency Coordination Service of the Valencian Community to respond to their requests, hence the type of shoes delivered “with the aim of supporting the works of rescue“, according to Rosana Peranpresident of FICE and executive vice-president of Grupo Pikolinos de Elche.
Another unusual contribution is due to international, national and local nightlife business organizations. Nightlifewho suspended the triple event (two conferences and the 9th Golden Moon Awards gala) planned in the city of Valencia on November 19 and 20 – postponed to 2025 – and including funds For their implementation, they are also donated to the cause of people affected by DANA.
Additionally, to increase the amount, they will create a base line so that “nightlife venues in Spain and around the world, as well as sponsors, DJs, users, suppliers and collaborators in the sector can make donations to those affected with the message #SOSValencia”, they announced.
“We believe that No East moment of celebrationssince thousands of families in the Valencian Community are suffering in an indescribable way and, therefore, we express our solidarity with the families of the victims and the missing as well as with all those affected by this unprecedented disaster in the territory and , in order to help them, we are going to devote everything we were going to invest in the celebration of the events to help the victims and we are going to launch an international campaign to collect aid for all”, he explained .
