The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) deported 33 people, including Azerbaijani citizens, in August for violating immigration laws.

Some of the deportees left the country voluntarily, while others were forcibly expelled. In addition to Azerbaijan, the deportees include citizens of Iran, Jordan, India, Turkey, Egypt, Australia, Pakistan, Nigeria, China, Iraq and Russia.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia began publishing statistics on the deportation of foreign citizens since the beginning of June.
