In the United States, a 10-year-old boy has admitted to killing the former mayor of Minden, Louisiana, and his daughter.

The bodies of 82-year-old Joe Cornelius and his 31-year-old daughter were reportedly found in the man’s home with multiple gunshot wounds. A six-year-old boy who was in the same home at the time of the crime was not injured. Law enforcement officials determined that two handguns were used in the killing.
It was reported that the boy who confessed to the double murder is a relative of the former mayor. The motive for the crime has not yet been disclosed.
