The Navarrese Oihan Iriarte Jauregui was recognized as Best Apprentice 2024 of Volkswagen Navarrawhere he completed the Industrial Mechatronics specialty.
Across the Group, the award was presented this year to 49 young talents of 19 different nationalities. The Navarrese currently works in the painting workshop of the Landaben Company.
The price at Best Apprentice It is awarded each year to technicians of Vocational training who have obtained the best record in the postgraduate specialization course, taught in the Volkswagen Academy of the various companies of the Consortium around the world.
The delivery ceremony, which was held in Wolfsburg (Germany), was chaired by Oliver Blume, CEO of the Volkswagen Group, and was attended, among others, by Gunnar KilianMember of the Executive Board for Human Resources of the Volkswagen Group; Daniela Cavallo, Chairwoman of the Global Works Council of the Volkswagen Group; Arne MeiswinkelMember of the Executive Board for Human Resources of the Volkswagen brand; and Christian Vollmer, Member of the Executive Board for Production and Logistics of the Volkswagen brand and Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Navarra.
Oihan Iriarte Jauregi is part of the twelfth promotion of apprentices of the Volkswagen Academy Navarregraduated in mid-June. The winner considers the award “a source of pride and recognition of personal effort” and considers the factory work experience “very good” because it allows him to “continue learning to continue to progress and improve as much as possible.”
