In October, staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) again visited people of Armenian origin, about whom the Azerbaijani side provided information.
Oku.Az reports that the ICRC was informed about this.
According to information, individual meetings were held with the detainees and conditions were created for their contact with their families.
“In accordance with its mandate, the ICRC evaluates the treatment and conditions of detention of persons detained during such visits. The ICRC also facilitates the restoration or continuation of relations with the persons’ families. In accordance with the procedures, observations and recommendations of the ICRC on Visits are carried out only with the detaining party, they are shared and discussed,” the information says.
