In total, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (RM) the amount of 3 million 385 thousand 326 manats was paid to the plaintiffs as alimony.
This was stated by Intigam Valiyev, head of the Executive and Probation Department of the Ministry of Justice of Nakhchivan MR, in statements to the local bureau “Report”.
He said that during the last period of 2024, 765 execution documents related to alimony applications were included in the procedures of local execution and parole institutions, and 580 execution documents related to pending alimony applications were removed from the procedures.
According to I. Valiyev, the plaintiffs were paid a total of 3,385,326 manats in alimony for the maintenance of 6,243 minor children, according to the executive document on 3,699 alimony applications processed during the corresponding period of 2024 During the nine months of 2024, 66 debtors were administratively arrested and one debtor was administratively fined for failing to execute the alimony amount without excuse.
In addition, the right of 107 debtors to leave the country was temporarily restricted. A criminal case has been initiated against a debtor based on article 306.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan for failure to pay alimony during the nine months of 2024.
Currently, alimony continues to be paid to the plaintiffs for the support of 5,025 minor children, according to 3,179 enforcement documents.
