Moscow is seeing the West increasingly blatantly demonstrate its direct involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
“We already see the direct involvement of the West in the conflict in Ukraine. The collective West is literally the main client, the main instigator of the military aggression of the Kiev regime. And it is increasingly openly, increasingly blatantly demonstrating its direct involvement as an interested party.” — the diplomat said, as quoted by TASS.
He noted that until recently, Western authorities claimed that their main objective in Ukraine “is to support the kyiv regime on the path to democracy.”
“But now the West’s calls and statements have become so frank that they themselves represent a direct threat.” – Zakharova stressed.
Let us remind you that the Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University from 3 to 6 September. The main theme of this year’s EEF is “Far East – 2030”.
