The joint tactical exercise “AZIREX-2024” was held in the part of the Caspian Sea belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of a group of troops and ships of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan and the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

First of all, a briefing on the objective of the “Search and Rescue at Sea” exercise and the tasks to be carried out was presented and mutual discussions were held.
In the exercise held to strengthen military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, rescue measures and medical assistance in case of ship accidents, search and rescue operations and ensuring the safety of ships were carried out.
The tasks assigned at different stages of training were carried out by the sailors with great professionalism.
