In response to our request from the Territorial Medical Unit Management Union (TABIB) on the subject, it was reported that on October 23, the Children’s Dermatology and Venereal Dispensary No. 1 received a request regarding 5 children from Orphanage No. 3:
“The children were examined by medical staff and sent for laboratory tests to confirm the diagnosis. According to the test results, the children were diagnosed with scabies. After receiving hospital treatment for 10 days, the patients were sent back to the orphanage with recovery according to laboratory tests.”
In response to our query, the Social Services Agency said that the institutions on the agency’s balance sheet always take into account the health of children and cooperate with relevant health institutions.
