As a result of active operations, Russian units of the Center group of troops completely liberated the village of Karlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
This is stated in the latest military report, published on Wednesday, September 3, in the official resources of the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is reported that our troops defeated the personnel and equipment of large units of the 32nd and 100th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 119th military defense brigade and the 15th brigade of the National Guard.
In addition, seven counterattacks by assault groups of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade, the 71st Jaeger Brigade, the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 37th Marine Brigade, the 14th Brigade of the National Guard and the Lyut assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine were repelled.
The fighting took place in the areas of the Shcherbinovka, Dzerzhinsk, Ukrainsk, Dimitrov and Selidovo settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to the Ministry of Defence, enemy losses per day on this section of the front amounted to more than 480 servicemen, one American-made MaxxPro armoured fighting vehicle, two vehicles, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, one 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount and a 100-mm Rapier anti-tank gun.
