The next criminal trial against Tanzila Karimova, accused of embezzling more than one million manats of residents’ money, was held in the capital.
Oku.AzAccording to information from , Tanzila Karimova, who gave her testimony at the trial held in the Baku Court of Serious Crimes, presided over by Judge Eldar Ismayilov, stressed that there were 11 leaders of the online games organized by her. She did not know any of the leaders of the group personally.
1 million 232 thousand 559 manats were transferred to the account of the 81 people he attracted to the game called “Qat” system and transferred to various bank cards of him and his relatives. Later, the winners of the game were selected and additional payments were made to them. Those who paid 500 manats received 2,500 manats.
Most of the victims were women. Although some of them initially made some profits, they later saw that the deposits made into their accounts were cut off and appealed to the Ministry of the Interior.
During the operation carried out by the Ministry’s Directorate for Combating Cybercrime, he was charged with Article 178.4 of the Criminal Code (fraud, especially when committed on a large scale) and participated in the investigation.
