The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published official information on military operations in the Kursk region.

It is reported that units of the Northern Group of Forces, with the support of military aviation and artillery fire, have repelled two attacks by enemy assault groups in the direction of the villages of Malaya Loknya and Komarovka over the past 24 hours.
Attempts to attack in the direction of Korenevo, Olgovka and Pogrebki were also thwarted. One armored combat vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and three vehicles were destroyed and two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered.
“Air strikes, artillery fire and troop actions defeated concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 22nd and 61st mechanized, 80th and 82nd air assault, and 92nd and 1st assault brigades of the National Guard in the areas of the populated areas of Apanasovka, Borki, Vishnevka, Viktorovka, Gordeevka, Krasnooktyabrskoye, Princely First, Kubatkin, Lyubimovka, Martynovka, Malaya Loknya, Novoivanovka, Orlovka, Obukhovka, Snagost and Uspenovka.” – the report says.
It is reported that in the forested areas our army continues to conduct reconnaissance and search operations to identify and destroy enemy sabotage groups attempting to penetrate deep into Russian territory.
“Aviation and missile operational-tactical forces carried out strikes on areas of concentration in the Sumy region of personnel and military equipment of the reserves of the 22nd air assault and 115th mechanized, 82nd and 95th, 92nd assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 1 1st Brigade of the National Guard, as well as the 101st, 103rd and 129th Ground Defense Brigades in the areas of the settlements of Belopolye, Vorozhba, Velikiy Bobrik, Glukhov, Miropolye, Novye Basy, Orlovka, Pavlovka, Sumy, Esman, Yunakovka and Yampol. , – the press service reported.
According to the data of the Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine per day amounted to 450 servicemen and 17 armored vehicles, including one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle and 15 armored combat vehicles, 40 vehicles and four artillery pieces, including: three French-made Caesar self-propelled guns and one American-made M777, as well as two American-made multiple rocket launchers, including: one M142 HIMARS and one M270 MLRS.
In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 9,700 servicemen, 81 tanks, 39 infantry fighting vehicles, 70 armored personnel carriers, 576 armored combat vehicles, 313 vehicles, 72 artillery pieces and 22 multiple launch rocket systems, including seven HIMARS and three MLRS MLRS, eight anti-aircraft missile system launchers, two transport-loading vehicles, 17 electronic warfare stations, seven counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, eight engineering equipment, including two engineering clearance vehicles, and one UR-77 mine-clearing installation.
