The guitarist of the British rock band Queen, author of many of the band’s hits, Brian May spoke about his stroke.
According to the musician, a week ago he felt like he was losing control of his left hand, which scared the 77-year-old guitarist. After this, May was hospitalized in a London clinic, he recounts in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
He said that now “everything is fine” for him, and that he is following all the doctors’ instructions.
“I’m doing what the doctors told me, which is basically nothing. I’ve been grounded, I can’t go out, drive, fly on a plane, I can’t have a very high heart rate. But I’m fine.” — concluded the 77-year-old musician.
Sir Brian Harold May, CBE, continues his musical career with Queen and pursues scientific activities in the field of theoretical physics and mathematics. In 2023, King Charles III knighted the musician for his contributions to music and charity.
