Another dark day in the Cercanías de Madrid has led the spokesman for the regional government, Miguel Ángel García Martín, to stress that it is “something unbearable for citizens”. At the press conference following the Government Council, García Martín stated that so far this year there have already been “more than 665 incidents” in Cercanías, which de facto represents “almost three incidents per day.” In this sense, he criticized the fact that “when citizens get up in the morning, they don’t know if they will be able to go to work.”
