The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic sentenced two local residents to life imprisonment for killing four bank employees and a security guard, the regional prosecutor’s office announced today, September 4.
According to the case documents, in December 2011, the defendants committed a robbery at the VIP Individual Client Service Center of one of the banks in Donetsk, where they killed four bank employees and a security guard in cold blood. The criminals failed to seize the funds, as the bank manager managed to use the device to call security before the fatal shot, so the criminals hastily fled.
“The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic has passed a verdict against two local residents. They were found guilty under paragraphs. “b”, “c” part 4 art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery), pp. “a”, “g”, “k” part 2 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder),” – the message said.
The court sentenced the perpetrators to life imprisonment, to be served in a special regime correctional colony.
