“The French side has once again provoked Azerbaijan. In its travel warning published on September 4, the French Foreign Ministry tried to cast a shadow over the legal system of our country and used expressions such as “the autonomous government of Nagorno-Karabakh region” and “surrounding regions” to mark the territory of Azerbaijan. They tried to undermine its integrity.”
Oku.Az reports that this is stated in the declaration of the West Azerbaijan Community.
The statement also said:
“France, which does not fulfil its decolonisation obligations under the UN Charter, pursues a policy of neo-colonialism and thus violates the basic rights of millions of people, has no right to speak about human rights. While Armenia recognises Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, at least in words, France’s failure to do so does not mean that what it does against Azerbaijan shows a biased approach.”
