So far this year, a total of 34 Lamborghini cars have been registered in our country, according to data from the Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC), the Association of Official Dealers of Spain (Faconauto) and Sellers (Ganvam), published this Monday. Specifically, in this month of August there have only been 2 registrations of this type of vehicle. This data reflects a market share of only 0.005% in 2024. And, in Spain, almost 671,000 units were registered between the months of January and August.
In total, the number of cars of this brand in Spain could reach 400 units. The sales figures of Lamborghini brand cars this year are similar to those of previous years. In our country, 46 cars were registered in 2023, 22 in 2022, 26 in 2021 and 30 in 2020. Before the pandemic, in 2019, this figure reached 44 vehicles sold in our country.
The Lamborghini range starts at €230,775, which corresponds to its entry model, the Lamborghini Huracan Evoreaching €240,294, which would be the price of its flagship, the Lamborghini Urus. The other model sold in Spain is the Lamborghini Revuetowith a price close to €450,000. This year, 17 Urus, 13 Huracán Evo and 4 Revuelto were sold.
Sanchez defends new taxes
Sánchez highlighted these vehicles, which are very few in Spain, to argue the need to increase the tax burden on the Spanish. The socialist leader exposed the need to have a more progressive tax system as one of the main axes of the government in economic matters. The head of the executive assured that taxes “will increase more for those who have the most.”
The PSOE Secretary General defended the implementation of “new actions aimed at limiting the disproportionate privileges that certain elites have and benefit from”. The socialist stressed that he was going to “impose taxes on those who already have enough money in the bank to live a hundred lives”. “We will do this, I insist, not to harm millionaires, but to protect the middle and working classes from a system that continues to be extraordinarily unjust”, declared the President of the Government.
In turn, he said that the Government will promote “the creation of a fairer regional financing system, which reduces territorial differences, which takes into account the uniqueness of each of the territories and which guarantees the sufficiency of public spending.”
“We believe that decentralization, which is part of the federal and autonomous DNA of our composite state, is perfectly compatible with the guarantee of solidarity and equity between territories,” said the socialist leader.
