JAKARTA – Member of the Commission of the III of the Indonesian Parliament, Saphududin Sudding is concerned about the incident of the dissolution of Christian worship in Sukabumi, Western Java. He argued that the state should not be defeated by some kind of group pressure, guaranteeing the constitutional rights of its citizens to worship.
“This is not just a matter of social disharmony, this concerns the issue of legal confidence and courage of the state in protecting human rights. It should be confirmed to all parties, worship is the constitutional rights of every citizen, ”Sudding said on Wednesday (2/7/2025).
