Courts receive two more complaints from victims against Íñigo Errejón for sexual assault

Claims of sexual assault against Íñigo Errejón continue to appear in court. Added to the complaints filed by actress Elisa Mouliaá and television collaborator Aída Nízar in Madrid more complaints filed in different courts in Spain. The victims prefer to remain anonymous due to the turmoil caused by the first legal proceedings against Íñigo Errejón, but they already have a lawyer to defend themselves in the proceedings.

It will be the courts that will decide whether or not to admit these proceedings against the former founder of Podemos and deputy of Sumar. Errejón admitted to his party leadership that he had engaged in sexist behavior and humiliated treatment of several women.

On October 24, Íñigo Errejón decided to abandon his political career after more than a decade of left-wing activity. He did this by publishing a letter on social networks in which he announces his resignation and made public that he was undergoing psychological treatment. The letter came after Sumar was ordered to leave the party after receiving proof that Errejón had attacked several women.

This information has been hidden for years by the leadership of the party led by Yolanda Díaz. Sumar leaders had received anonymous complaints of attacks from the parliamentary group’s former spokesperson. The most famous is the complaint on social networks from a young girl who said she felt attacked by Íñigo Errejón during a feminist music festival. Errejón’s team at the time negotiated so that this complaint would not be revealed, which, mysteriously, ended up being deleted from the social network on which it had been published.

But the influx of women victims of the former MP has led to an increase in attacks on social networks. The journalist Cristina Fallarás published in her profiles the testimonies of these girls who designated Errejón as a sexual predator. The wave was immediate and actress Elisa Mouliaá decided to come forward and denounce the former leader of Sumar. The young woman went to the Family Welcoming Unit for Women (UFAM) of the National Police to process her complaint, which has already been transferred to the courts. The judge Adolfo Carretero admitted the complaint is being processed will assume jurisdiction and will soon summon Íñigo Errejón as investigator, according to the sources consulted.

Aída Nizar also denounced the former deputy of after touching her ass at an event in 2015. The television collaborator went to the Marbella police station to report it and, a few days later, supplemented the letter with new information about the event. “Errejón made me feel humiliated, humiliated, dirty and disgusted. He hit me violently on the buttocks and then threatened me,” Nízar said.

A woman helped him escape

Íñigo Errejón has been missing since these facts about his life became known. The former MP fled thanks to a woman who worked for pay as an advisor to the Sumar parliamentary group. This is Marta Sanchiz and she entered the Congress of Deputies in July 2024, accusing 31,778 euros per year. She served as Errejón’s own chief of staff. The counselor came to pick him up at the door of his house in the center of Madrid. As revealed by OKDIARIO, Sanchiz was driving a high-end Volvo XC60 vehicle with the license plate 5469LC*.

After the publication of this information by OKDIARIO, Sumar announced the dismissal of Marta Sanchiz. According to match indications, Yolanda Díaz’s team transferred Marta Sanchiz on Thursday – the day Errejón resigned after reports of a non-consensual sexual relationship with a woman – who “he will stay at home”since they didn’t have it at that time.

Sumar sources consulted by The sixth explain that the termination must be handled in a specific way to prevent the dismissal of Marta Sanchiz from being declared null and void by the courts. Likewise, they argue that Íñigo Errejón’s security manager will be fired. The deputy has been missing for eleven days, fleeing the press without giving explanations on the sexual assaults already reported to the court.
