Mazón asks for 31.4 billion in aid from Sánchez, the annual budget of the Generalitat Valenciana

THE Valencian generality chaired by Carlos Mazon officially asked the central government for a first package of aid amounting to 31.402 million euros for people affected by DANA and emergency reconstruction from the area of ​​the province of Valencia hard hit by the tragedy. A number that This is practically the consolidated budget of the Valencian Government for this year: 31.521 million.

Mazón himself announced that he would notably request additional aid to that already announced by the Consell itself, of 6,000 euros for each person affected, with an additional 15,000 euros to be financed by the State. To these will also be added aid of 15,000 euros for the reconstruction of housing, which will be complementary to the previous ones. Added to this is an additional 65 million euros for the Valencian minimum income for vulnerable groups.

Among the proposed initiatives are 1,464 million euros for the purchase of vehicles which supplement the amounts that the Insurance Compensation Consortium will have to contribute for the more than 80,000 private vehicles and 10,000 heavy goods vehicles that the floods swept away on Tuesday October 29.

Infrastructure for more than 12 billion

Among the great games, another stands out 7 billion euros for the reconstruction of industrial zones and business parks in the metropolitan area of ​​Valencia, since a good part of the industrial fabric has been destroyed in large areas.

Also included are 2.686 million that the Generalitat Valenciana and the Ministry of Transport have agreed and which will be necessary for the “immediate reconstruction” of the infrastructure most affected, both roads and railways.

To this are added 2.2 billion euros for basins and ravinesthrough which the water flowed and which still temporarily cost the lives of more than 200 people.
