Saleh, born in 2000 in the Tatar region, killed his wife Naila (names withheld – ed.) out of jealousy.
According to information obtained by Telegraf.com, Saleh believed that his wife Naila, with whom he had an unofficial marriage, was cheating on him by talking to someone else on the phone. To end the relationship, his father sent him to Azim’s house.
Naila’s ex-boyfriend, who was with family members, called Hamza Saleh, a resident of Barda district, and admitted that he had spoken to Naila on the phone. Saleh, convinced that Naila was unfaithful to him, decided to kill her. To make his intention come true, on May 4, 2023, he contacted his ex-wife by phone and told her that he wanted to see his son. Then Naila’s father came home. When he was talking to Naila, he wanted to clarify why he betrayed her.

The investigative body announced an indictment against Saleh under article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Penal Code.
Saleh, who testified as a defendant in the criminal case, pleaded guilty to the charge that had been announced to him.
In his statement he stated that he married Naila in 2020: “But we are not officially married. We have a child from a joint marriage. Currently, the child lives under the care of his grandfather.
Naila and I lived in my father’s house. About 4 or 5 days before the incident, I left work around 10 pm and discovered that Naila was not at home, she had gone to her father’s house. As I approached the window of the house, I heard my mother telling my father not to tell me anything about what happened. When I entered the house I told my parents that I had heard everything and asked them if Naila was talking to anyone on the phone or what she was doing.
My parents tried to calm me down, they made me swear not to do anything to my wife. I also swore that they will tell what happened. My parents informed me that my little sister Naila had been talking to a stranger on their son’s mobile phone.
I asked him how they found out about this, my father said that that day my nephew received a call on his mobile phone, and when the boy opened the phone, a woman asked my nephew about Naila and started insulting him. My nephew immediately gave the phone to his sister Amina.
The woman who spoke to Amina on the phone said that Naila is destroying her family by talking to her husband Hamza on the phone. That’s why that woman demanded Naila’s number.”
The accused said that later, her sister gave the woman her father’s number and asked her to contact him: “The woman called my father and told him that Naila had not given up on her husband, that she She made a video call to her husband using the mobile application “Whatsapp”, and when he did not answer the phone, she left a message for her husband.
I took the woman’s cell phone number from my father. I called him the next morning and told him I was Naila’s husband. When I started talking, the woman’s mother took the phone from her daughter and swore at me. He said, “What kind of man are you? You want help from my daughter, if you are a man, go and cut off your wife’s head, so that she will stop following me.”
After saying these words, he handed the phone back to his daughter. The woman said that her husband Hamza and my wife have been dating since 2018.
I went to his father’s house to meet and talk to my wife. Naila’s father, Azim, and mother, Zibeyda, were also at home. I asked Naila about what happened. Confessing everything, he claimed that he had indeed spoken to Hamza. Although he cried, I didn’t believe his tears, I told him that he betrayed me. Then I went to the house where I live.
I called my mother-in-law at home again and told her I wanted to talk to Naila. During the conversation, he said that he had known Hamza for a long time. I asked Naila why we named our son Hamza for that reason. Then I got angry and turned off the phone.”
According to Saleh, on May 3, he and his father went again to the house where Naila’s parents lived: “Our goal was that if Naila married someone else, she would give me my son. I demanded Naila’s commitment to written. However, she did not accept my request.
We got out of there, I got to work. My mother-in-law called Zibeyda and told her that she wanted to keep Naila’s dowry. I agreed with Zibeyda and went to the house where I live.
My mother-in-law Zibeyda, my wife Naila, my wife’s sister Laman and a furniture maker whose name I don’t know arrived at my address in a truck. “They packed all the dowry items in a truck and took them away.”

I asked her about the child’s condition. She told me that my son is still He has a fever, so tomorrow he will take him to the doctor.
Naila asked me for documents related to the child and herself, as well as an electric kettle as a dowry. I left work and went to Naila’s house to see my son and give him the electric kettle. When I entered the house, my mother-in-law Zibeyda was in the patio of the house.
I asked my mother-in-law to bring her to see the child. After spending some time with my son, I called Naila. I asked him why he betrayed me. She said it was too late and I had no right to ask anything, and then she would wear a miniskirt and go wild in cafes.
I got angry and told him what I said. “He also used insulting expressions towards me.”
Saleh noticed that at that moment he could not control his nerves, he took out the knife he was carrying and wounded Naila’s abdomen: “After she fell on her back, I hurt her chest two and three times while she was lying down. Then I stabbed her several times. .
Naila’s mother and father came out of the house screaming. His father came towards me and wanted to hit me. I held the knife to my boil and told him not to come at me. Then I ran out the door.
When I got to the end of the street, I called my father and told him that I had stabbed Naila and that I was going to the police station to turn myself in. “I put the knife in my pocket and took an unfamiliar taxi to the Tartar district police department to surrender voluntarily.”

Although I didn’t want to answer the call at first, my wife told me to open the phone and see who was calling you. I opened the doorbell and saw it was a woman. “I’m Nail,” he smiled.
At this point I ended the call. Naila started texting me. I texted her and told her I was married and asked her not to bother me. But he ignored my words and continued texting.”
